About Kepo Dominoes

Kepo Dominoes is the classic dominoes game with a double-six set of 28 tiles. Take turns matching a tile to one end of the line of play: a tile goes down where one of its halves matches the number at that end. Empty your hand first to win the round. When a tile fits both ends, both spots glow and you choose. The line snakes around the table as it grows, with doubles laid across it.

There are two ways to play. Against Kepo, it's the draw game: you each start with seven tiles, and when you can't play you draw from the boneyard. In Teams, you and Mochi play against Pip and Puff, the way dominoes is played across Latin America and Brazil: all 28 tiles are dealt and when you can't play you pass. If nobody can play, the round is blocked and the side with the lowest count of dots wins it. The winner scores the dots left in the other side's hands, and the first to 100 points wins the game.

Tips

Play your heavy tiles early: if the round is blocked, every dot left in your hand counts against you.
Keep a spread of numbers in your hand so you always have something that matches.
Watch what the others pass on, and leave those numbers at the ends of the line.
In Teams, don't block the numbers your partner needs.
