About Memory Match

Memory Match is the classic memory card game, free in your browser. All the cards start face down. Turn two: if they show the same picture, they stay face up; if not, take a good look before they turn back. Find every pair to clear the board, in as few moves as you can.

Pick one of five card sets drawn by KepoGames: Kepo and his friends, the fish from under the sea, the farm, sweet treats, or all of them mixed up. Play from 6 pairs for a quick warm-up to 24 pairs for a real test of your memory (15 on a phone). The game counts your moves, keeps your best time for every set and size, and saves a game in progress, so you can come back to it later.

Tips

Turn a card you haven't seen first. If it matches one you remember, go straight for its pair.
Work through the board in order, row by row, so you remember where each card sat.
Say what you see in your head ("blue fish, top left"). Words are easier to remember than pictures.
Start with 6 or 8 pairs and add more as you get faster. The big Kepo & Friends games add hats, so look closely.
