About Kepo Mahjong

Kepo Mahjong is mahjong solitaire, also called mahjong connect or tile matching, with a tile set drawn by the KepoGames studio. Tiles are stacked in a layout. Pick two matching tiles that are free and they leave the board; clear every tile to win. A tile is free when nothing lies on top of it and its left or right side is open. Free tiles are shown bright and blocked ones a little dimmer, so you always see what you can play.

The set has the classic suits redrawn: Bubbles, Sprouts and Kepo Numbers from 1 to 9, Pip, Mochi, Puff and Bean in place of the winds, and Kepo, a donut and a gold star in place of the dragons. Any flower matches any flower and any season matches any season. There are ten layouts, from a 30-tile Garden to the classic 144-tile Turtle, and every deal can be cleared. Hint shows a pair, Undo takes one back, Shuffle mixes the tiles left when you're stuck, and your best time for each layout is saved.

Tips

Clear the tall stacks first: a tile on top of a stack frees the one under it.
Free the ends of the long rows early, since tiles in the middle can only go once a side opens.
When three or four matching tiles are free, take the pair that frees the most tiles.
Flowers and seasons match within their group, so keep one back to free a tile you need later.
