About Hidden Words

Hidden Words is a free word search game in your browser, made by KepoGames. Each puzzle hides a list of words in a grid of letters. Drag across a word, or tap its first and last letter, and Kepo rolls along the line; a word you find stays circled in color and is crossed off the list. Find them all to finish the puzzle, as fast as you can.

Pick one of seven themes: animals, fruit, sweets, under the sea, the farm, colors and nature. Easy is an 8 by 8 grid with words across and down only, Medium a 10 by 10 grid with diagonals too, and Hard a 12 by 12 grid where words can also run backwards. Every game is a new puzzle, and the daily puzzle at the top of the menu is the same grid for everyone that day. A hint makes the first letter of a word blink, the game keeps your best time for every theme and level, and a puzzle in progress is saved so you can finish it later.

Tips

Look for the letters that stand out, like Z, X, K or a double letter, and check the words in the list that have them.
Pick one word and scan for its first letter, then look at the eight letters around it for the second.
On Hard, remember words can run backwards: check the last letter too.
Short words hide inside the busy middle of the grid. Find the long ones first, then the short ones are easier to spot.
