About Bolt Buddies

Bolt Buddies is a screw puzzle game. Colored plates are stacked on a board and held down by colored screws. Tap a screw to unscrew it, and it flies to the Kepo friend holding a box of the same color. Each box holds three screws: when it's full, that friend heads off happy and the next one arrives. When a plate has no screws left, it drops away and shows what's underneath.

You can only unscrew a screw that nothing is sitting on, so the order matters. A screw with no matching friend waiting goes to the tray, which has room for five. The next friends' colors are shown as little dots, so you can plan ahead. Fill the tray and you're out of space, so think before you tap. Every level can be solved, and new levels keep coming, with more plates, more layers and more colors as you go.

Tips

Before tapping, look at the two friends waiting and at the colors coming next.
Clear the top plates first: they hide the screws underneath and drop away once empty.
The plates are see-through, so you can spot which screws are waiting underneath.
Use the tray for screws you'll need soon, and try to keep a spot or two free.
